Mirotznik v. Labove

Philanthropy

Charles M. Mirotznik’s belief that a quality education is key to both personal growth and professional success has inspired his commitment to educational philanthropy.

Mr. Mirotznik has endowed a scholarship at Dickinson College, his Alma Mater, to fund study abroad scholarships to Bologna, Italy, where he studied from 1974-75, as an undergraduate. Recognizing how fortunate he was to have parents encouraging his study abroad program, he endowed the scholarship to extend that unique opportunity to students who qualify under the scholarship guidelines.

Mr. Mirotznik has also established scholarships in tribute to his parents at both Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he was part of the inaugural law school class, and Brooklyn Law School, in tribute to his father, Bernard M. Mirotznik, Esq., Class of ’52.

Mr. Mirotznik credits his parents’ mentorship, guidance, and belief in a strong education for providing him with the opportunity to succeed and achieve professional independence.  He sincerely hopes that through these scholarships he will encourage and support the educational goals of students and help lay the groundwork for future generations to achieve their own professional independence.
